　　C: I'm free now. Please have a seat.

　　H: Do you handle with cargo insurance?

　　C: In fact, cargo insurance is a main item of our organization. We cover all kinds of risks for varies transportation, such as ocean, land and air.

　　H: Your company's coverage is really full-scale. What kinds of risks do you cover for marine insurance?

　　C: The marine insurance include three basic policy forms and various kinds of special insurances.

　　海运保险保险范围包括三个基本保险和各种特别保险。

　　H: What is the coverage of your special insurance?

　　你们的特别保险都有什么?

　　C: There are too many to say, such as Risks of Leakage, Risks of Shortage in Weight, Risks of Breakage, Risks of Rust, Breakage of Packing, TPND and so on. The inclusion of these special risks will issue an additional premium.

　　这个可就多了，例如渗漏险、短量险、污染险、破碎险、生锈险、破保险及偷窃提货不着险等。要投保这些特别险就必须加付保险费。

　　H: Then who is responsible for the additional premium?

　　那这些额外保险的费用由淮负责呢?

　　C: It's on the buyer's account. Because according to the international usual practice, these special risks are covered only when the buyer calls for them.

　　是由买方负担的。因为按照国际惯例，只有在买方要求时才保特殊险。

　　H: I see. How do you figure out your premium rate?

　　我明白了。你们的保险费率怎么计算的啊?

　　C: They are fixed on the basis of the past statistical loss amount, as well as taking the international market premium rate into consideration. Our premium rates changes according to different risks, destinations, and routes.

　　它是根据以往货物损失和破坏的`统计数据计算的，同时也会考虑到国际市场的费率水平。我们的保险费率是随着不同的险别、目的地、航线等而变化的。

　　H: Can you tell me something about the payment in case of loss or damage?

　　关于损失或损坏的赔款支付问题，能跟我说 —下吗?

　　C: Sure. After the goods have an accident, you should immediately apply for goods inspection to the relevant department. When the inspection is finished, the consignee will get a certificate of Loss or Damage, and then the consignee can file a claim to our company.

　　当然。货物出现事故后，应立即向有关部门申请货物检验。检验完毕后，收货人获得货物丢失或破损证书，就可以向我公司索赔了。

　　H: I understand. Thank you for being so cordial and friendly.

　　C: You are welcome.
