  What put that idea in your head?

  你怎么会这么想?

  当别人说出一件事情、想法、意见等,让你觉得有点儿不以为然,或者很不解对方为何这样想时,为了促进对方针对他的想法提出解释,我们可以说“What put that idea in your head?”

  Jim:I want to takE Ancient Greek next semester.

  吉姆:下学期我想修古希腊学。

  Lisa:What put that idea in your head?

  莉莎:你怎么会想修古希腊学呢?

  Jim:I've always been intercsted in ancient Greek literaturc and culture Also,Kate is going to take that course.

  Lisa: Apparently.the latter is the main reason!
