  1.“card”在这里表示“名片”,相当于“business card”。另外,生活中常用的“卡”还有: identity card(身份证,亦可写作ID card)。membership card(会员卡),bank card(银行卡),credit card( 信用卡),debit card(借记卡),key card(钥匙卡)等。

  2.“extension”在本对话中的意思是“电话分机,分机线”,例如:She has an extension in the kitchen and in the bedroom.(她在厨房和卧室里都有电话分机。)Do you know Mr. Brown's extension number?(你知道布朗先生的分机号码吗?)Can I have extension 316,please?(能请你帮我转316分机吗?)Hello,I'd like extension 207,please.(你好,请帮我转207分机。)

  接待礼仪

  1.客人要找的负责人不在时,要明确告诉对方你方负责人为何不在,以及何时回来。如有需要,则要请客人留下姓名、电话、地址等,以便联系。此外,还要明确客人是否再来,是否需要留言等。

  2.客人到来时,若你方负责人由于某种原因不能马上接见,要向客人说明等待理由与等待时间,若客人愿意等待,则应该向客人提供饮料、杂志等,并应留意为客人添加或更换饮料。

  3.为客人领路时,应该有正确的引导方法。

  ①走廊里的引导方法

  走在客人两三步之前,配合其步调,让客人走在内侧。

  ②楼梯里的引导方法

  当引导客人上楼时,应该让客人走在前面,自己走在后面;若是下楼时,应该由自己走在前面,客人走在后面。随时注意客人的安全。

  ③乘坐电梯的引导方法

  引导客人乘坐电梯时,主动按电梯呼梯按钮。电梯门打开时,若客人不止一人,可自己先行进入电梯,一手按住“开门”按钮,另一手按住电梯一侧门,请客人们进入电梯,之后关闭电梯门,按下客人要去的楼层按钮。在电梯内尽量侧身面对客人。电梯到达时,一手按住“开门”按钮,另一手做出请出的动作,可以说 “Here we are, You first.”。

  ④会客厅里的引导方法进入会客厅后,用手指示,请客人坐下。看到客人坐定后,才能行点头礼然后离开。如果客人错坐下座,应请客人改坐上座。

  4.在招待客人饮料时,要注意很多讲究和规矩。通常先要问客人想喝什么,然后再去准备。
