1、明确你要寻求的是不是这个职位。
只有你明白这个职位做什么,你要寻求这个职位才能突出你的经历。第一轮简历的筛选基本上是比较固定的。如果你不符合一些明确的标准,只有1/3左右的公司会给予机会。
2、简历的格式和外表这重要性远远超过人们预料。
一份好的简历不仅有主题突出的经历,而且有特点的包装和格式是吸引注用人单位人事经理的主要方面之一。如果使用各种字体格式,如斜体、大写、下划线、首字突出、首行缩进或尖头等等方式,有重点有节奏地表达思想。有些求职者以为另类的简历会让人耳目一新,所以往往追求新、厅奇的特色。除非是你寻求的职位有些别样,最好是在简洁、醒目上下功夫,不要过于花哨,否则适得其反。
3、尽可能只有一页A4纸,最多不超过2页。

5、基本的信息不一定全列出来。

首先,教育背景要写清楚
个人资料部分(PERSoNAL dATA),包括求职者的姓名、性别、出生年月等,与中文简历大体一致。
外企一般都很重视求职者的教育背景(EdUcATIoN),就读的高校越知名,求职成功率就越大。在写教育背景时,求职者应注意的是,在英文简历中求职者受教育的时间排列顺序与中文简历中的时间排列顺序正好相反,也就是从求职者的最高教育层次(学历)写起,至于低至何时,则无一定之规,可根据个人实际情况安排。
在这一部分,求职者必须注意一个细节,那就是大多数外企对英语(或其他语种)及计算机水平都有一定的要求。因此,你在这方面如果有优势就尽可能地给予说明。
其次,工作经验要突出重点
随着企业竞争的加剧,越来越多的用人单位看重求职的工作经验(woRK EXPERIENcE),外企也一样,特别是欧美企业很重视求职者的实际工作经验。因此,如果你有很好的工作经验最好择其重点分项写出来,包括服务单位的名称,自身的职位、技能等。当然,用人单位会在应聘要求中写明,他们会看中哪些工作能力和经验。你在求职时,完全可以根据招聘广告上所列出的每项要求,并列出自己的情况逐一与之比较。

最后,写出你的职业目标
Job objective通常,一般求职者只会在履历表开端简单地写上所应征的职位-“Position Applied: management Trainee”或“I am appling for……”其实,若懂得利用这小小空间写出自己的事业目标(job objective),能显示出你对该工作的热诚及憧憬,能令招聘者对你加倍留意。
此外,你还可以简要地写出自己感兴趣的领域(INTRESTEd FIELd)。对于大多数求职者,尤其是对搞技术或研究工作的求职者来说,这一点必不可少。因为随着分工越来越细,将工作能力与工作兴趣相结合,不仅是求职者的意愿,对雇主来讲,也同样具有积极的意义。
不要认为论资排辈只在国企流行,在韩资企业员工升迁也一样论资排辈,所有人都得从底层做起。韩资企业一般实行高度的集权化,大部分管理权集中在公司高层领导那里,中下级管理人员只有很小的权力。更重要的是,上级做出指示后,下级无条件地执行这些指示是工作职责,这有点像军人服从命令是天职一样的感觉。
记住,韩资企业重男轻女的观念比较严重。一位曾在韩国公司实习过的北京大学研究生晨小姐告诉记者,女员工进韩资公司的第一件事就是打扫卫生,男员工一般是不会帮忙的。
英语简历的三种形式:
(1)以学历为主的简历:这类的英语简历主要适合用于刚刚走出校门的学生,因为没有什么工作经验,所以学习经历比较重要,在这类简历中也可以写写自己的兼职工作和实习经验。
主要元素:个人的基本情况(姓名、年龄、联系方式等等)personal date;主要的求职意向和应聘的职位 career objective;自己所掌握的技能 special skill;个人的`兴趣爱好 hobbies/interests;自我评价。
(2)以经历为主的简历:这类简历适合有工作经验的人,而简历重点在于自己的工作经历,所以要把自己的工作经历放在学历之前。经历和学历的时间顺序均是由近至远。
主要元素:个人的基本情况(姓名、年龄、联系方式等等)personal date;主要的求职意向和应聘的职位 career objective;工作经历 work experience;学历 education;自己所拥有的工作技能和技术资格、工作中取得的成绩 technical qualifications and special skills等等。
(3)以职能为主的简历:这种英语简历,与以经历为主的简历相似。差别在于:以经历为主的简历是按时间顺序来排列工作经历,而以职能为主的简历则按工作职能或性质来概括工作经历,并无时间上的连贯性,旨在强调某些特定的工作能力和适应程度。
