2018考研英语“啃”单词的5个重要提醒
第一，大纲中的5500词汇只是一些核心词汇，换句话说，5500词汇只是考研词汇中的一部分。我们在记忆的词汇远远超过5500;
第二，在英语阅读的解题中，我们通常会遇到运用同近义词、上下义词和反义词等去解题的方法，因此我们不仅要掌握单词的常见含义，还要掌握单词的生词僻意、搭配、同近义词等，这对考研英语各部分都会大有裨益。如果掌握的词汇量不够，这个肯定是做不出来的;
第三，大纲规定还允许存在3%的超纲词，也就是说，哪怕你把大纲中的5500次全都背下来，也还是会存在不认识的生词。因为研究生招生考试作为一种选拔性考试，是要对报考的学生作出甄别，要考查考生分析问题、解决问题的能力。并非像水平考试那样，只是测验出学生的水平。
记单词对于广大考生来说也是一块难啃的骨头，这里也有必要提及一点，可以使用背单词软件利用好自己的碎片时间进行单词的重复和强化记忆。使用软件可以系统整理除了有考纲的5500词汇，还有超纲的1300多个单词，另外，还有同义词与近义词，还有短语与句子，挺完整的。遇到不会的单词，还可以用生词本功能记忆。
当然，我们不仅要记忆单词，还要培养猜词的能力。虽然我不认识这个词，但是可以根据各种线索猜测出词意。比如，根据我们之前学过的词缀去猜测，如overstatement,它是由前缀over-和词根statement构成。Over-是“过度”的意思，statement是“陈述”，那么“过度的陈述”就是“夸大”的意思。此外，我们还可以根据上下文、语法等知识去解题等。
