Founded in 1927,our university is one of this city’s earliest universities of liberal arts.It is staffed with an excellent faculty,and has a total enrollment of over 10,000 students.In the past years,it has turned out numerous well-qualified students and found its graduates active in professions of all walks of life.
Since its establishment,the university has always steered itself toward the objective that its students have an overall healthy development.Not only does it provide the students with basic academic courses,but it manages to expose them to the up-to-date knowledge.Besides,students are free to participate in colorful campus activities and social practice,which are intended for broadening their mind and developing their potential talent.
Currently,both our faculty and students are making every effort to improve the quality of our education in the direction of a first-rate university.Thank you.

There has been much controversy over whether the new technology is a boon or a bane. Some people believe that the Internet is a great asset. Modern technology considerably alters the way people communicate with each other. Also, people can now acquire useful information online with a click of the mouse. However, there is a growing concern about the potential drawbacks of the Internet, especially in terms of personal security. For example, WeChat may expose one’s location to strangers by positioning function, cheat one’s friends by faking identity, and lose one’s money in the electronic wallet.
Owing to the accelerated pace of contemporary life, people’s work and life are increasingly confined to a narrow space. However, in face of new technology, we should be prudent. One should make sensible use of technology, being a master rather than a slave of it.

Reading experiences such as: these equip me with knowledge, broaden my horizon, and always my view of the world.
In all, reading is importance of all of us, especially college students. So it is high time that we read on are a regular basis, say, one book a week. And only in this way can we live up to the social expectations of becoming socialist successors.
