I am a student from the department of thermal engineering in Tsinghua university and I double majored in economics. our school always pay a lot attention to our ability training so that I think I can manage something easily.as a result of the baptism of four years, I think that I have a solid theoretical foundation for knowledge and professional skills.“think big and try bravely” is the motto I believed for all these student’s age. To be higher is my aim because that the sense of responsibility always forces me to act better when I get a job.

附:求职信也称应征函。一般的公司在征才启事中,只会要求应聘者寄上履历及自传。求职信是应聘者主动表示自己对这份工作的热衷之一种表现。也就是说,履历及自传是被动的,是一种求职过程中所必备的文件。而求职信则是主动的,是求职过程中附带的,但具有争取面谈机会的一种半正式沟通作用。
严格来说,一封求职信的性质是正式的。因为写求职信的目的乃在于争取一份工作,而且写作的封象是一个公司或公司里某位高级主管,因此我们说求职信是一种正式文件。但是从另一角度来看,求职信是应聘者的权利。应聘者可以写,也可以不写这封求职信。如果他不写,没有人会让为他的应聘文件不完整,因为他寄了履历和自传。如果他写了,那是他强调自己对这份工作的认真态度,也是他除了履历和自传以外,一份和受信者之间,虽然正式但具有私人性质的额外沟通。融合这两层意义,所以我们称一封求职信为半正式的沟通。
了解了求职信的性质之后,我们再来了解它的功能。上面我们提到求职信是主动的、附带的、半正式的,而它的功能在哪里呢?它的功能乃在透过其主动而附带的书写行为,和受文者做半正式的沟通,进而使对方了解此应聘者积极认真的态度,最后达到取得面谈的目的。在此,我们要有一个认识:不管是求职信、履历表或自传,其目的都在被录取。而录取的关键乃在而谈。如果有面谈的机会,就表示有录取的希望。所以求职信、履历表及自传也等于是在争取面谈的机会。我们常在履历表或自传的最后一段看到应聘者写上这么一段:“希望贵公司给我面谈的机会。”便是这个道理。而求职信的功能便在加强受信者给予应聘者面谈机会的可能性。因为履历表和自传的功能乃在叙述自己的背景,是让对方了解自己的基本文件,进而肯定认同自己的能力。
有了这些认识以后,我们就可以充分利用这份属于应聘者专有的权利,为我们争取工作了。
