绚烂的烟花绽放在空中，家家户户的窗户上都贴上了红红火火的窗花，新年的钟声也即将响起。
爸爸妈妈在厨房里准备午夜的饺子。我站在阳台上望着天上绚烂的烟花，许下了春节的第一个愿望。无意间，看到了门口的保安大爷，那个微弱的灯光，在五光十色的灯光下，显得格外冷清。
看到了这一幕，我又想到了今天下午和保安大爷谈话是的事，我对保安大爷说：＂大爷，都过年了，您怎么还不回家去吃团圆饭呢？＂大爷回答我说：＂唉！就算是过年了我也要在这里值班，保护大家的安危啊！＂想到这里，我突然跑到厨房，对妈妈说：＂妈妈，我们给保安大爷送点饺子吧！＂妈妈惊讶地望着我，爸爸附和我说：＂对呀！他们大过年的，都不能回家过年。＂妈妈点点头，把饺子小心翼翼地装在了盒子里，生怕弄破了。

春节到了，我很高兴。因为春节可以领到压岁钱，还可以一家团圆。
春节的前一天晚上，妈妈做了一桌子好菜。有香喷喷的鸡肉，有令人垂涎三尺的虾，还有酸甜可口的糖醋排骨等等。奶奶对大家说：“今天大家慢慢吃，不着急。”开始吃饭了，弟弟大口大口吃着那美味的鸡腿，我则吃着那好吃的的虾。大人们便边吃边聊天，屋子里充满着欢乐的气氛。
吃过晚饭后，我们就在一起看着春晚，春晚节目可真精彩啊！有令人提心吊胆的'杂技项目，也有令人笑到肚子疼的相声小品。节目接近尾声，离12点倒数还有十秒的时候，我们也跟着主持人倒数。新年的钟声敲响了，代表新的一年来临了。
各家各户都放烟花和鞭炮庆祝新一年的来临。
第二天早上起来的时候，大家见了面都互道新年好。奶奶煮了汤圆端来让我吃，我吃了一口，说：“好甜啊。”除了享受新年的快乐，我还知道了一些食品的寓意。
