  教学目标:1、能够听、说、读、写单词: post office, hospital, cinema, bookstore, science museum,并能根据实际在情景中应用。

  2、能够初步使用Where is …?询问某地的位置,并运用适当的'方位介词进行回答。

  3、通过Bingo游戏巩固所学内容,同时提高学生答题的准确性和速度。

  4、能够理解并会吟唱Let’s chant的歌谣,从而培养学生的语言运用能力。

  5、结合本课内容引导学生在生活中帮助人的时候,要有自护意识,不要随意为陌生人带路,或到非公共场所。

  教学重点:单词library, post office, hospital, cinema, bookstore, science museum

  句型:Excuse me. Where is …? It’s near / in front of / behind the….

  教学难点:单词hospital,cinema,library,science museum的发音和拼写不易掌握。

  教具准备: 1、Let’s learn部分的录音和图片。

  2、Let’s chant部分的录音。

  3、Let’s learn部分的单词卡片。

  4、为学生每人准备一张Pair work部分的复印材料。

  教学过程

  教学内容

  Step 1. Greeting

  Step 2. Warming up

  Play a “Quick Answer” game to review the following words: library, school, zoo Children’s Center supermarket.

  Step 3.Presentation

  1. T: It’sSeptember 24th. I’m very happy. Do you know why? Because National Day is coming soon.We do not need to go to school for several days. Are you happy?

  Ss: Yes.

  T: So am I. We can do many interesting things or we can go many places.Right? Where are you going?Where are you going to do?

  Ss: I’m going to …(T showsfilm’s picture ,then stick the picture on the BB)

  T: What about you ? (call a student’s name)

  S1: I’m going to buy a book.

  T: You should go to a bookstore.(Show the picture of the bookstore)

  T: Any one else?

  Ss:Post a letter; Buy a pair of shoes; T puts five pictures on the BB. At the same time T shows a picture. A girl has a cold.T :“Shehas a cold. What should we do?”

  Ss: We should take her to see the doctor quickly (hospital’s picture)

  T: There is a dinosaur show in Beijing on National Day. It’s great. Many children will see the show with their parents. You can see many kinds of dinosaurs. Do you know where you can see dinosaurs?(Museum’s picture)Now all of you look at the BB. Who can read the new words correctly? Please have a try.

  Step 4.Practice

  1. T put a map on the BB. Using the styles“Where is the…?It’s….” to master the new words. Play a chain game of asks and answers.

  2.Play a word game .T points to a word, Ss must read the word quickly

  3. Give Ss 3 minutes to remember the words. At the same time they try their best to find many goodways to remember the words , T shows one or two examples. Eg: mu + se + um→museum

  Step 5. Consolidate

  Bingo game. T prepares a piece of paper for Ss. After Ss finish the paper and check the paper in pairs. If the student can write 7 words correctly. He or She gets a prize(notebook).

  Step 6.Advice

  If you meet someone, they want you to help them find some places. If you don’t know him or her. You can’t go with him or her. It’s dangerous.

  Step 7. Listening to the tape-Let’s chant.

  Homework

  1、Copy the new words and remember them.

  2、Preview the new content.

  3、Do exercise book in Unit2.
